The Grand Illumination Parade

Saturday, November 17th 7:00pm--The Grand Illumination Parade in downtown Norfolk. Kick off the holidays with the illumination of the Downtown Norfolk and Olde Towne Portsmouth skylines followed by Hampton Roads most cherished event, the Grand Illumination Parade. The Storybook LIVE themed parade will travel down Main Street to Granby Street then travel north to Freemason Street crossing over to Boush Street and around to Waterside Drive. Festive Floats, marching bands, giant balloons, dancers and Santa himself will delight spectators as they bring your favorite storybook characters to life. Once again spectators have the opportunity to reserve their viewing spot along the parade route early! “Street Seats” will be located along Main Street, Granby Street and Waterside Drive.
